What is Darcy's (from Pride 'n' Prejudice) first name?

Characters in the book speak of him as Mister Darcy in the same way they talk of Mr. Bingley. So he must have a first name (Binky’s first name is Chuck, IIRC), but we (myself and two PP fanatics) can’t find Darcy’s first name anywhere in the book. Forgetting Bridgett Jones’ calling him Mark for the moment, does he have a first name in the original book?

It’s in vol. II, chapter 12 - he signs the long letter to Elizabeth as “Fitzwilliam Darcy.”
