I look at her, and something just, I don’t know. Bugs me. What is it? Her hair? Her eyes? Something seems Barbie-ish about her. Plus, her husband never looks at her.

it is her eyes. very pale colour, on camera they wash out and just look like she either doesn’t have eyes or only all white eyes. it is very eerie.
in person, i’m sure her eye colour is just fine. perhaps even rather nifty.
i guess not every candidate’s wife can be mrs. kuchinich (or however you spell dennis’ last name).
When McCain ran against GWB Cindy had really, really short hair and I always thought that was a good look for her.

Every time I’ve seen her lately, she’s been wearing a turtleneck clear up to her chin. There’s just something odd about that. Most people I know fold the turtleneck collars in half; do people really wear them unfolded and covering their entire neck? It would drive me nuts.

yes, people do wear turtlenecks (or polo necks) unfolded. it is a preppy thing. you wear them folded if there is some sort of decoration that needs it worn that way.

I think it’s probably because plastic surgery can’t fix two specific things. You can tell a woman’s age fairly well by her hands and her neck. She’s probably got the turkey neck going, and wants to appear as young as possible.
It’s also good for covering hickeys.
