There is a local store that buys name brand stuff, mainly from insurance and liquidations, then advertises. Evidently, they are usually prohibited from mentioning where the merchandise comes from, but gives enough clues that it is usually easy to figure out. They do have some great deals. Anyway, figure this out for me if you can. The link: http://www.cmartdiscount.com/#
Macy’s?
It said New York wouldn’t be New York without “it”.
Probably Sak’s Fifth Avenue. Or possibly Macy’s.
Or Bloomingdales?
Or Bloomingdales. Can’t think of any other stores that are so NY specific that the fact that they are in NYC is a major clue.
I thought of all of those, and some research did not show that any in new york, per se, have closed, or caught on fire or been flooded. Macy’s is consolidating it’s various named department store such as Hecht Co., under the Macy’s name, and while this is a shake up, it seems it would create more, not less, outlets for it’s products. Somehow it has to tie in with the fact that c mart buys mainly from insurance companies, and bankruptcies and that it seems to be getting a whole store’s worth of stuff. Also, the way their hints usually work, that fact that “IT” is in quotes should be a clue of some sort.
Also, the mention of over 50 “boutiques” might suggest a specific store to someone but does not to me.
Umm. I’m confused. Where on this website does it say any of this?
