Has there been a April where he didn’t start off poorly?
Even by his standards, he’s well below the mark.
He’s a career .238 hitter in April. He’s batting .133 after today.
Normally slugs .417 in April. Today he’s at .257.
About the only pace he is keeping up with is strikeouts 
It’s a fluke.
He looks a bit tentative up there but he’ll get a few hits and turn it around.
A .137 BABIP (batting average on balls in play) is ridiculously low. He’ll get better.
Here’s hoping he doesn’t.
