I once had a co-worker close an e-mail where she had given her opinion of something by writing: “That’s my to sense on the issue.”
It took me ten minutes before I realized what she meant.

It’s “escalate”, not “esculate”. This one has been creeping into the language for awhile now, but I realized it’s becoming a problem when I heard a newscaster say it a couple days ago.
“Pacific” and “specific” are TWO DIFFERENT WORDS with TWO DIFFERENT MEANINGS!!! Pacific is an ocean; specific is an adjective designating “that particular thing”.
