I can think of two mispellings that seem to be prevailing over their correct versions. Tounge for tongue and looser for loser. Any others?

I can definately think of one.
Someone in another thread commented on the distressing prevalence of perscription, and then a few days later I saw someone else use it a couple of times.
‘Teh’ for ‘the’ is the one I hate most, mostly because I’m so often guilty of it myself. Also ‘myslef’ for ‘myself.’
But then there are the deliberate ones: ‘Lite’ for ‘light,’ and so on…
shrug I guess that’s how language evolves.
Oh, musn’t resist this one… ‘Nuculer’ for ‘nuclear…’

Yes, I have really seen “is and it”.
“could/would/should OF” is probably the number one now. It might almost be a lost battle, that one.
