That’s why they have duck tours and not LARC tours.
If it could fly, would it be a SkyLARC?

Yeah, but look how big it is!
Here in Toronto, we have hippos instead of ducks.
Waaaaaaay offtopic, here, but how safe are those Hippos? I know there have been downing deaths on DUWKs since these tours have started, and I don’t understand how that could have happened since they’re open cockpit machines - these Hippos have only the windows for emergency egress, and in time of panic, I shudder to think what might happen. I’m not trying to say they’re unsafe, honest… just wondering.
No idea, though I could ask my friend the boat captain. (Well, ex-boat captain… now he runs an art gallery…) If they were new vehicles, there’s gotta be a manufacturer, right?

The above is a site featuring various interesting vehicles for sale, among them a Duck. Also check out that ‘Atkinson Alligator.’

It appears there are (or were) LARC tours:

By the way, did anyone else look at the OP photo and think of the Arctic Snow Cruiser?
You could outfit one of those to be the ultimate RV: A houseboat and a motorhome all in one. Hell, you could drive to the Atlantic and then sail to Europe, drive across Russia all the way to Vladivostok, and then sail across the Pacific to California.
Road Trip VI: Around the world in a LARC.
Duck Tours, Singapore
Quack.
Yup, they’ve made it to Dublin, Ireland too.
They pootle around a canal basin, and also pass by my office full of kids wearing Viking helmets, who are told to cheer loudly exactly at the moment they’re outside my window. Makes me jump out of my skin, ten times a day.
Then learn to throw mud and lunch (mixed) at the little Herring Raiders until they quit.
Simple.
