What is the difference between the Blue and White Checkmarks next to usernames?

But they can’t see their profile. When a guest subscribes, their post count includes posts made when guests.

On Solaria/Mozilla the checkmarks aren’t red and blue - they are kind of filled in blue and unfilled in blue boxes. Not complaining… I’m just the outlier. They still work fine, though.

I had thought that this was the case, but it occurs to me that it can’t always be. If it were always the case, then we would never see the title “Banned” under a post. So there are at least some other circumstances under which the Board updates status.

Perhaps the change occurs only when the person attempts to log in, either manually or by cookie rather than posting.

I dunno… I’m pretty sure I’ve also seen drive-bys, of the type one would not expect to attempt to log in again, with “banned” under their names. Of course, there’s no way to know that for sure, but…

I’ll post a subscription FAQ next week that’ll spell out who’s entitled to what.

manually adjusting a poster? Is that allowed? :dubious:

Were the blue and white checkmarks replaced by blue and green dots?

yes

Remember that TubaDiva famously commented, “You’re all members to me,” and this becomes even funnier!

Some are bigger members than others.
