4:14 surely isn’t right?
Why?
This page lists 17 moderators. Unless one mod is two people – and tomndebb’s name suggests that he/she/they is/are two people, but I think he’s just one – it can’t be 4:14.
Why?
Doesn’t sound right.
Tuba, Lynn, Elynn, Gwyn, Una and Twix - 6 females.
Marley, Sam, Tom, Idle, Gfactor, and CK Dexter = 6 males
So found 50% more than 4 in both sexes! No sensey-making!
Doesn’t sound right.

Before someone comes in to get all cross about it, I’ll preempt by saying that the totals are incorrect. I do not work for the message board, I work directly for and with Cecil. I’m a scientist, not an enforcer.
Is xash no longer a mod or admin?

This isn’t a list of the mods and admins! See link above.

He’s no longer actively an administrator, but he retains admin powers, as do I. Generally I only use my powers to stop a spammer in mid-spam, in the middle of the night.
I think the SDMB mods are like those dead/undead quantum cats in boxes that only the cool kids can understand.
Until you actually look in the box, it may not really be there. Then depending on if they are, or it isn’t, then a random moderator in a parallel universe finds their penis missing. And their cat dies.
Or something.
Must have been quite a Christmas. Perhaps if we remind her of her Latin grammar and then ask her nicely she’ll change to twickstrix (or twixtwix: a female trickster with a speech impediment, bearing candy).

[sup]1[/sup] a kind of bird similar to a guinea hen
[sup]2[/sup] a woman whose opinion or statement is accepted as authoritative
[sup]3[/sup] braggart, boaster, arrogant person
[sup]4[/sup] a liar (female)
[sup]5[/sup] a woman who harangues the people
[sup]6[/sup] crossbowmen
[sup]7[/sup] barristers, lawyers
[sup]8[/sup] professional female mourner, ‘wailster’

However one self-identifies. If someone is, say, a woman with an unfortunate appendage then she’s a woman. Same with those offended by having opposite sex chromosomes. OK? ![]()
The OP needs to break it down further as we don’t how many are trapped in a body of the wrong gender. Could alter the whole ratio…
For instance, “G-Factor” is supposedly male. But he has a “g-factor”? Hmm…
Read “Omoo” yet?

I would never have said that, but I knew it was coming.

You’re scary, Lynn!
You’re not using enough double negatives to be taken seriously.

I was to get there when the facts were in.
