What is the frequency space that was used by broadcast TV channels now used by?

What is that frequency range / air space now being used for?

tv broadcast spectrum went to radio and cellular services.

TV channels 2 thru 51 are still in use by TV. Only 52-69 went away. Channels 2-6 suck for hi-def TV and channels 7-13 are better but still not as good as UHF (14-51).

It amazes me that more than half the population (but few in this news group) know that over-the-air TV is alive, kicking, and usually HI-Def. I, myself, don’t have cable and receive 20+ channels and sub-channels. All my network shows are hi-def.

If you’re a sports fan, then OTA TV is not for you. Just about everything except football is only on a cable/satellite station. Luckily, I’m not a sports fan.
