You’re not answering the question - by place, do you mean “specific place” like “St Marks Square, Venice”, or do you mean “general class of place”, like “Take her to a county fair”?

I’d take them on a snorkeling afternoon in Grand Cayman. That way, even if the relationship doesn’t work out in the end, at least we’d have some pretty awesome memories. Ideally, they’d also be too tired afterwards to do or say anything too silly.
Not to be crude, but if the goal is to have sex with “K” after visiting this place then my answer is easy.

I know, k.d. lang is not a guy, but would appeal to some female participants.
If I were already in a relationship I myself would want to go to London and barhop, while at the same time being able to take in historical and/or romantic sights as we passed them by.
I don’t have luck at establishing relationships but if I could choose anywhere in the world to attempt one at, I’d choose Rome over Paris because it has enough things that I’d like to see that I wouldn’t be in such a bad mood that I wouldn’t be able to be romantic. I’d choose Rome over London because I’d be too wasted in London to not blow the whole thing.
