I kept The Iron Giant for over a year. My daughter and I loved it and I could never find a copy on those few occasions that I had the money to but it. I finally mailed it back in December or so.
I think about 6 months but I can’t remember what movie it was. I am up to having 1 or 2 discs for almost a month at a time, every time now.
We’ve had the first three discs of Farscape Season 2 for about three weeks now. It’s not really our fault – somebody else seems to have lost Season 1, Disc 4. It said “Very Long Wait” on that one for several weeks while it worked its way up our queue, so we procured those episodes from an alternate source…just in time for them to yank the entire rest of Season 1. So they sent us the discs we have now before I noticed that was what they were doing. We’re watching the rest of Season 1 before Season 2, so we’ll keep the discs until we’ve gotten to that point. It’s kind of irritating, but we only have about six episodes left before we’re caught up.
About 3 weeks. I’m pretty religious about my Netflix, although my movie-watching frequency dropped off considerably last year when I got a job.
