I fail to see these alleged lines…
They appear on upper and lower edges of the object, whitish lines trailing faintly from left to right. They don’t extend much distance, but just enough to hint that the object is rectangularish rather than spherical.
I think St Germain’s thimble guess is a great one, wonder if the edges (I think I am seeing) are a trick of the light, which looks to originate from an angle off to the right somewhere. But looking at it again I keep seeing what looks like a defined edge; it’s reflecting light. It seems like if we were looking at the side of a thimble-like cylinder, we would not be seeing those upper lower lines - the edge would simply disappear into the darkness as the side of the cylinder rolled away from view. There seems to be something more that is creating those edge lines, like a seam of some sort.
That could just be the display block that the silver trophy golf ball is attached to, and the upper lines are the lucite cover over the top of it (you know, to protect Tiger’s autograph from the elements). 
To me it looks like an object that is curved in 2 dimensions and is designed for grip so I’m going with steering wheel or steering wheel cover.

Oooh, good guess, the lines could be those little plastic string dealies that come with the cover and tie on to hold it in place.
I think the lines are the molded edge of a steering wheel cover. Based on the reflection they’re a curved molding.
Looking at it again, I think it’s Pinhole spectacles.
