Assorted luggage, piles of old magazines and lecture notes, shoeboxes full of cassette tapes, and my wedding dress (in a box). Also loads of feathers which leaked from these crappy pillows we used to have. Unreachable by the hoover, unfortunately.
A few board games, like Monopoly (the 2000 edition or something), a Ouija board which I have never really played with, some three-ring binders holding all of my stories, a Platypus Beanie Baby, some socks, a green frisbee, and other junk that I cannot remember right now.
Until the leg snapped off the bedframe (bad weld, the boxspring and mattress are now sitting on the floor), I had
[li] a flat tote full of t-shirts (special ones I save and do not wear)[/li][li] a tote full of wrapping paper[/li][li] a box of nail polish (forgot about that)[/li][li] various cat toys[/li][li] a GameBoy Tetris cartridge (wondered where that went)[/li][li] a book on Breugel[/li][li] a book on Charles I[/li][li] several single black socks[/li][li] a hairbrush[/li][li] a “Better Homes & Gardens” magazine (February 2001)[/li][li] several old “Games” magazines (all of the crossword puzzles completed)[/li][li] lots of dust bunnies[/li]
This is probably a good thing that the bed frame snapped.
It’s a Sharps 1874 #3 “Business Rifle” with a blue 30" barrel, colour case-hardened receiver and chequered butt-plate, walnut stocks, double-set triggers, and chambered for .45-70 Government. Brand new, made by Shiloh in Montana, and never fired.
several notebooks,
a basket with tapes in it,
a couple dozen books,
a folder with some drawings,
a basket with crayons and colored pencils,
2 shoeboxes of fabric remnants,
copies of rolling stone and spin,
my cat’s veterinary records, and othre important papers,
a big box with assosted mementos and costume jewelry,
some candy and pop,
and a few bits of trash.
Carpet.
Until perusing this thread - I had actually forgotten this as a place to hide, shove, cram and stuff things that i didn’t want to bother putting away. But i suppose - since I don’t have anything under there at the moment… Could request to have something shockingly appear there?
A nekkid house boy named Javier would do quite nicely, or even a Jaoquin, Basil, or Trevor - of course it would be nicer if they came ready with a jar of liquid latex and a few paintbrushes, and some Raisinettes for snack-time.
But im not too picky.
Intentionally placed under the bed:
Blocking Boards, blocking pins, and blocking wires - no other place to put them.
The motor for the mattress.
Things that happen to be there:
dust & books
Nothing.
The bed, including box spring and mattress are on the floor, so theres nothing between my bed and the floor.
Geez, I thought you might have some 'Nilla Wafers…
Let’s see what’s under my bed:
shoes, of course
socks-must accessorize the shoes
a little toolkit thing my aunt gave me when I first went away to college
an old satchel
a complete set of Deer Park Broadcaster issues from the summer of 1999-bet I’m the only one (I interned there)
My roommate’s cat is no longer found underneath my bed, since my roommate moved out. I really miss him.
Every night while I sleep there is an 80 pound dog under my bed, twitching and dreaming. (It’s a pencil-post bed that sits about 18" off the floor.)
Besides all the dust under my bed there is also:
[ul]
[li]bunch of old magazines that need to be thrown away[/li][li]an empty box my CD player came in[/li][li]picture collage frame that never got hung up when I moved in 3 years ago[/li][li]a couple of “adult” toys[/li][li]suitcase[/li][li]many unmatched socks[/li][li]heating pad[/li][/ul]
Hey, I just found the button that Baglady made for the fabulous Super Bowl Dopefest at Sue Duhnym’s.
