God but I miss my dog. Her name was Dusty. One parent was a wolf, the other was a mix of German Shepherd and Husky. There was no better, well-behaved and all around great dog in the world.

I don’t like dogs much, but I did have a basset hound once that was pretty cool.

German Shepherds of course, the best dogs in the world - I bred and showed for over 10 years. Now I have no room for any dogs, and I miss them badly at times.

The only canine pet I’ve had and liked was a Spitz.

Had a black patch over one eye on an otherwise snow white body. Called him Phantom and taught him all manner of tricks. He got run over by a car in front of the house.

Since then, no dogs. Cats.

Retrievers. We have a golden and a yellow lab, and almost all my other favorite dogs have been black labs. Great dogs. Loads of fun.
