What is your favorite fast food restaurant? Multiple choice

Bad list - can’t vote. Buncha places (already mentioned upthread) got missed, and we don’t have some of the listed areas around here. (I hear tell this “White Castle” place is good, but we just get the frozen boxed version 'round these here parts.)

WTbloodyF is “Rally’s?”

Standard burger joint. Nothing terribly special about it, although the burgers aren’t bad either. It also operates under the name Checkers.

Culvers you heathen.

Seconded.

Also, what about Taco Cabana? I dig me some Taco C.

From Wiki

They look like this.
mmm

Taco Cabana is in just 3 states; I was shooting for a wider swath than that.
mmm

I’m never happy to have eaten at Carl’s Jr, but I still do sometimes. I’ve mostly sworn off giving them money because of a loathsome advertising campaign they had back in the 1990’s.

Yet another vote for the missing WhataBurger

Plus

Popeyes
Culvers

Of course the places that are getting the most votes are the ones that exist in the most places. This poll is meaningless.

The lack of love for A&W makes me sad.

Unless you’ve been to So Cal you won’t know of Zankou Chicken.

I thought Taco Bell would fare better.

And I wouldn’t have been surprised if McDonalds received no votes at all.
mmm

My favorite atm is Pei Wei.

And this makes it different from other SDMB polls how?

Zaxby’s. Always makes me think of Andy Griffith saying “It’s gooooo-ud” The first person to open one in Northern Virginia is going to be a millionaire in a month.

For those questioning Panda Express’s status, the one in NoVa has a drive-thru window. I think that qualifies it as fast food.

I far prefer Wendy’s to McDonalds. Their fries are almost as good, and their burgers are far superior. My other vote was Popeyes, for the dirty rice which reminds me of my years in SW Louisiana. The chicken is not bad either.

I’d vote for White Castle if there any near me - when I was a kid in NY I loved them.
We have Panda Express here, but we have so many good independent Chinese takeout places, closer, that I’ve never been tempted to eat there.

I voted Other: Chipotle, Panera, and (for local deliciousness only available in west Michigan) Mr. Burger.

I chalk it up to people not knowing they have frosted glasses and root beer on tap.

I voted: In N Out, Chick-fil-A, Five Guys, In n Out, McDonald’s, Steak and Shake, Other (Culvers). I realize McDonald’s may look out of place with the other burger joints, but damned if I don’t get cravings for a McDonald’s double cheeseburger or quarter pounder with cheese from time to time.

My “other” was Raising Cane’s, which does one thing (chicken fingers) and does it well, and Buffalo Wild Wings.
