I have tried Five Guys fries once. They were limp and soggy- are they always like that?
The best fries were the 1/2" thick crinkle cut ones I used to cook when I worked the grill at a bowling alley. Hot,* crispy*, made to order. Yummy good times, those.
When I was a teen, a local hot dog joint used to sell crinkle cut shoestring fries. Those were pretty good.
Battered, and in whatever cut McDonalds fries are.
