What is your home page?

It used to be Google but since I installed the Google Toolbar (which kicks ass by the way…) I now have my homepage set to Drudge Report.

Zcrysis, I like your idea. How did you go about setting that up? I’d like to give it a try…

Homepage, my profile - blank. Hubby’s profile - la Repubblica . Google search is built in to the browser otherwise would have it set to that.

Thanks. It’s in fact a very simple table that I created in Frontpage [you can use any WYSIWYG editor]. Just specified the numbers of columns and rows in the the table tool. One cell one link, written the same way you would right a link on these forums. Mine comprises of like sites grouped together vertically because it’s the way I like to surf. I kept the link I use everyday/frequently at the top cause this part of the page loads the fastest, but loading is usually instantaneous, or near enough to it, anyway. Once it’s saved you just load that page by double clicking on it, and then set it to homepage.

It really is that simple.

Mine is http://news.google.com

yay!

I hope you all like it, I’ve put a lot of work into it.

I use the page’o’links idea, but put it online, because I’m very often not at my own computer. I do need to update it, as there are a bunch of bookmarks that are only on one machine that I’m always trying to remember.

I use Yahoo, mainly for the news headlines on the right. I swear I get most of my current events knowledge from that. Sad? Perhaps.

I open to about:blank, mainly because I don’t like dealing with stopping a page when I want to open a new tab for whatever reason. The “Home” link in my Bookmarks Toolbar goes to straightdope.com, since its a guaranteed once-a-day read (well, weekdays, at least). The toolbar also has nother message board I go to periodically, google, SDMB, my univeristy page, department page, ChemFinder.com, Library page, and my webmail link.
