So, what's your home page?

I use the bbc’s news page as mine. I like to be able to catch up on the latest news stories when I start my laptop up.

What do you like to catch up on/ look at when you startup your browser?

I just have google…

I spend like ten hours a day between the SDMB and Slashdot. It’s pretty pathetic, heh.

I use about:blank.

blank

google uk

even loads quicker than our work intranet

About:blank. It was Google previously.

Whatever the generic page is that it came with. It says dell start page or some such.

For my home desktop, it’s an iGoogle page (normal google search bar at top, but with calendar/weather/email/news widgets filling most of the page).

For my laptop, my de facto work computer, it’s my work’s webmail login page.

My ISP email login page.

I have iGoogle as well with the Garfield theme, cute kitty pics widget, a comic strip widget, a weather widget, a sudoku widget and a quotes of the day widget.

Speed Dial

Wtf? Opera needs to start copyrighting their ideas so other browsers stop riding their nuts. I use the real Speed Dial (Opera’s.) So essentially I have 9 home pages, but I could increase it to 12 or I think even more now with the new version.

Me too: blank

google chrome does this by default using your most frequently visited links

thehungersite.com so I remember to click every day.

I saw Safari on a friend’s Mac doing something like that too, but fancier of course. But yeah, I think the feature originated on Opera.

Opera was doing it before Chrome existed. Seriously, if people only knew . . . every “hot new feature” on all the trendy browsers is almost always something Opera has been doing for years. The #1 example being tabbed browsing, which was OMGHOLY$^*$AWESOME!!!#@111 to Firefox/IE users a couple years ago, even though Opera has been doing it for like a decade.

google.com is my homepage.

I tried Opera. I actually liked the browser a lot, but no ad-block is a killer for me.
