What is your least favorite fast food restaurant? NOT multiple choice

I wouldn’t go to LJS because I don’t like seafood, and I have been to Chipotle once but their default seasonings didn’t jibe with me so I will never go again. I didn’t vote for either of those, tho, because they are places I just wouldn’t go to in the first place.

I voted for Arby’s because they are so expensive. I had a deli sandwich once and it was super expensive and not that good. Their roast beef is good ONLY for a dollar (when they have specials). Otherwise, huge waste of money.

I think the same goes for McDonalds. I don’t think they have good hamburgers when you compare them to any other hamburger on the planet. But they sure make good tasting McDonalds Hamburgers.

I really like the Whopper, and one of the McD’s Angus burgers is sort of like the Whopper. But their shitty burger on an upscale bun with fresh veggies just tastes weird. Bad, even. I much prefer their regular tiny patty with their little chopped up onions, a sad little bun, American cheese and a squish of mustard and ketchup.

There are still Roy Rogers out there. There are at least 3-4 in Frederick, MD. They are the same too, been that way for 20 years or more. Funny, all the Hardees in Frederick are gone I believe.

I thought Hardees got bought out by Carl’s Jr.?

I like their roast beef a lot. I also like the Market Fresh sandwiches, but if you look at the nutrition numbers they are pretty terrible. They have wheat bread, onions, lettuce, tomato, not sure where they went wrong. I think it’s the sauce.

Long John Silver’s is the most disgusting of all the options listed. If I want frozen fish patties I can trust the Gorton’s Fisherman.

Although I haven’t eaten at all, Taco Bell is the worst. Their food is disgusting and their restaurants are disgusting. Burger King and Hardees are close too, Hardees used to be ok but now all they have is chicken and artery-clogger burgers.

I think they went through a bad period for a while, and you might have gotten a bad franchise, but the one near me is just excellent. I used to boycott them because of the ultra-social-conservative groups the owner donates to, but I realized lately that I just can’t care that much when their food is so filling and good.

We must have eaten at different Chipotle’s … the food there was simply too filled with jalapeno/scotch bonnet whatever the hell it was to eat. All of it, even the guacamole sauce. Hell I bet they put hot peppers in the sour cream. Bland it was not, unless burning hell in the mouth equals bland.

That’s what I was going to comment on. They should be Hardees/Carl’s Jr. on the list since they’re the same company operating under different names in different reasons, just like Best Foods and Hellman’s mayonnaise or Fry’s/Kroger’s grocery chains.

I’m surprised by that too…I rather like Chipotle’s and have eaten at outlets of theirs in three different states. I’ve never had anything there I’d consider particularly spicy. And my spice-averse stepdaughter likes what they call the medium-heat salsa, so it can’t be just me.

Oh, I know. There’s almost 50 of them left, but they used to be everywhere around here as I’m sure you remember. Now I have to make a special trip to the one in Gaithersburg or stop at the one in Thurmont when I’m going out to York, even if I’m not actually hungry.

Since Yoshinoya Beef Bowl wasn’t a choice (that shit is truly the worst chain fast food on the planet, but they’re regional (California, Arizona, Nevada)), I went with Arby’s, the second worst excuse for beef on the planet.

Yeah, that sound nothing like any Chipotle I’ve ever been in. Like Puly, if anything I would describe their food as bland. I think it’s pretty decent, but “spicy” wouldn’t be in the top 100 adjectives I could come up with to describe Chipotle.

I went with BK, because it’s my least favorite of the big hamburger chains. Chemical-tasting burgers and bad, bad fries are a bad combo. Give me McDonald’s or Wendy’s any day of the week.

I’m surprised by all the hate for KFC. It’s not great by any means, but I kind of like the extra crispy.

my biggest Long John Silvers gripe is that the french fries taste fishy. everything deep fried tastes fishy. you put the fish/shrimp fryers in a different room, and i’m sure i’ll like it a lot more.

I’d say so. KFC used to be pretty good chicken, back when it was called “Kentucky Fried Chicken”. Then they changed the Extra Crispy to “Extra Tasty Crispy”. For a while I loved the chicken pot pies they came out with - ate one every week for lunch. Then they changed something or something, because now they aren’t that good. Even the biscuits don’t taste as good as they used to.

The potatoes haven’t changed, though, they’ve always been that way.

I haven’t been to many of these franchises, ever and some others in a very long time. 20 yrs +.

I chose Church’s because everyone I was ever in was dirty.

No pizza joints?

I love LJS for their… chicken strips. Seriously. And all those crunchy pieces in the bottom of the container! I may eat there tonight.

There sure as hell ain’t no Scotch bonnets in Chipotle, else I might just be eating there. Scotch bonnets are for professional fire eaters.

As for jalapenos, honestly, maybe my taste buds are completely fried, but I don’t remember there being any fire in anything Chipotle makes.

Del Taco.

Fast food is generally not very good but I expect that going in. So all the places listed, except Del Taco, I actually like or have not eaten at.

Del Taco wasn’t even that bad for fast food but they had this commercial for some new taco and it looked awesome so I went and paid my $1.99 and got home and the damn thing was all of three bites. It was tiny and I was still hungry. I’ve never gone back.

I’ve never eaten at a Chipotle, so I went to their store finder and got:

I guess I will move, because Chipotle told me to!
