Nope, that’s what I came in to post
Downeaster Alexa for me,
but close with Goodnight Saigon and Captain Jack close behind.
Uptown Girl and the answer to the thread question - second favorite - Tell Her About It
Ditto - “Vienna” is #1
“Only The Good Die Young” is second.

I’ve immediately gone searching my iPod… guns in your face… Peter Pan advice… ahhh… ![]()
Favorite: The Entertainer (and it isn’t close)
2nd: Pressure
Honorable Mention: Root Beer Rag. I’ve probably listened to it more than any other Joel song.
Well, Piano Man ain’t first for me. I give that to The Entertainer.
My second favorite is Honesty, because during the first few years of doing karaoke (beginning around 1989), it was the ONLY Billy Joel song I could find in the catalog, no matter what venue I was in.
Funny, I don’t remember logging in as you. :dubious:
I’d probably have “Somewhere Along the Line” pretty high in the top 5. But “Vienna” definitely on top. For a long time I considered it my personal anthem.
I’m thinking that a person whose favorite Billy Joel song is “Piano Man” probably hasn’t listened to many other Billy Joel songs, and especially not the ones that never made radio airplay.
