On a daily basis I drive a 5 speed turbo station wagon.
I also drive the Bug, the Ruckus and the Spyder.
Small Econobox? I’ve owned two Civics.
'98 Jeep Cherokee - small SUV. That car has over 161k miles and runs like a champ. I briefly considered trading it in as a clunker this summer; but it was hard to justify getting rid of such a reliable car, even for a more fuel-efficient one.
Cayenne S. I believe they’d prefer “crossover” but for now we’ll just go with Small SUV.
Either a 2007 Mustang GT, a 2005 Yamaha FZ6, or a 1998 Jeep Wrangler.
I really want one of those. They are indeed fast cars.
Bicycle and city bus. I’m stylish, I am.
How come cars get five categories and pickups all get lumped in with"utility vans?
I chose “other” for my 4WD Tacoma. I consider it an off-road sport truck.
I drive a Honda Fit. Even though I drive my daughter in it all the time, and it’s really a great little car, I called it a small econo-box.
Hybrid SUV
'96 Subaru Outback wagon, which I checked as ‘other’.
If things like Porsche Cayenne and Jeep Cherokee are ‘small SUV’, what are large ones?
That’s because it…IS a small econobox!
Hey I’m with you. I have a Scion Xa which is equally tiny. I see a Smart Car out on the road and I’m like “Hah! I’m driving a stretch limo compared to you!”.
Expedition, Suburban, Tahoe, Excursion, Toyota Land Cruiser, Hummer.
Although I’d call the Cayenne a crossover (unibody). Oh, wait… was that a category? (on edit: nope)
2001 Toyota Corolla. I really want a Mini, but they’re just a little too expensive. My next car, which I have my heart set on, is a Yaris with the hatchback. So cute!
I’d get a SmartCar; I have the perfect commmute for it, but if it’s half the car, IMO it should bve half the price. The fact that it’s the same price as a regular car doesn’t sit well at me. Go ahead and be logical, I don’t care.
When does a Corolla not run?
'96 Corolla and it never breaks down.
I drove a 1990 Corolla for years before I got this one - literally until maybe 3-4 years ago. It had over 200K miles on it and still ran. I love Toyotas and especially Corollas.
2000 Food Taurus. It gets the job done…except for that weird noise coming from the engine right now. It’s starting to worry me.
I drive an Altima Coupe 2.5S - not quite a rocket, and has fairly roomy back seats for a 2-door, but it definitely has a sports car design and handling.
But hybrid? Where does that fit among the choices?
Civic’s a Civic. Should an Expedition fall under a different category based on having the 5.4L vs. the 4.6L? It’s not a price thing; “econo-box” doesn’t means the car was cheap to purchase. Some econo-boxes are quite pricey.
