What kind of cross training sneaker goes least terribly with relaxed-fit pleated khakis?

I know the usage of “khakis” here, but this still makes me smile. I would say chinos.

I googled the difference actually, and I’m still not 100% but my Dockers seem to be called khakis whereas similar Dockers are called chinos. I think it’s to do with the visibility of the stitching. Chinos sounds cooler so that’s what I don’t have
