What kind of dog are you?

Found a new test site http://www.emode.com and it’s bunches of fun. This test is my favorite: http://www.emode.com/tests/dog2.html

According to the test, I am most like a COLLIE. You are a sensitive breed who is very in tune with the feelings of others. Your level of awareness in the realm of interpersonal relationships makes you very approachable, and friends probably come to you for advice and comfort. Your intense loyalty and relaxed personality make you a wonderful confidant. Since you are so giving, your friends might not realize that you need them just as much as they need you. After all, what is a Collie without a flock?

So, what kind of dog are you?

You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted, then used against you.

Oooh, this is rich! I’m a Great Dane

Anyone believe it? Payment will be in the mail!

I am apparently in the ego-building class of dogs after reading this result.

You are most like a GOLDEN RETRIEVER. You are loved by all. Your extroverted and fun personality automatically makes you one of the coolest and most popular people around. In addition to being socially elite, you are also attractive both inside and out. You seem to have a magnetic personality that makes you the life of any party. You are probably pretty accomplished at anything you set your mind to, and have a very supportive and fun-loving social network. A Golden is a great dog to be!

Have you voted for your favorite, huggable Mullinator today?

I don’t even have to take the test—I’m a bitch, I thought you all knew that!

You are most like a BASSET HOUND. You are one laid-back individual! You cherish your “down time” and treasure the moments that you have no responsibility to anyone but your couch and TV set. You are easy to get along with and are extremely low maintenance. You probably love to hang out with your friends, as long as it is in a low-key environment. Although some might consider you lazy, you prefer to think of yourself as “relaxed.” Your no-frills approach to life makes you a refreshing friend to all.

I’m a Pug, too, John.

Seems like a pleasant enough pooch…witty, well-liked, charming, spectacularly-endowed.

I’m also a Basset.

Bit of a relief, really.

I thought I’d end up as a pitbull.

“I thought: opera, how hard can it be? Songs. Pretty girls dancing. Nice scenery. Lots of people handing over cash. Got to be better than the cut-throat world of yoghurt, I thought.” - Seldom Bucket

…the Pug is also ambivalent about whether the glass is half-empty of half-full, it seems.

You are most like a BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOG. You are characterized by your good-hearted and hard working personality. You are down-to-earth and able to be simultaneously strong and sweet. You are very tuned in to the feelings and needs of those whom you care about. Your great communication skills, coupled with your unmatched loyalty and devotion, makes you a breed that is respected and trusted by all.

What the hell is a Bernese Mountain Dog?

You are most like a ST. BERNARD. You are one loyal and good-hearted individual! You have a naturally protective personality that is reflected in the way that you treat people close to you. Your do-gooder approach to life earns you a great amount of respect and admiration. You aim to please, and your focused and determined demeanor enables you to accomplish this goal. You are a pleasure to be around, and people admire you because of your strong morals and ability to live by them. It’s a breed like yours that makes the world a better place!

Uncle! Those dogs are gorgeous! You are most like a GREAT DANE. You are the Adonis of all dogs. Sophisticated and full of spirit, you draw a crowd of admirers wherever you go. Being intelligent and athletically gifted does not hurt your popularity, either. You are classy and well-mannered, while maintaining a friendly and approachable air. You are the perfect blend of physical and mental prowess.

Enright3

You are right Canthearya; those are pretty cool dogs. Now if I could just get out of the apartment and buy a house with about 3 or 4 acres, I’d have room for one.

I’m and Irish setter too:

You are most like an IRISH SETTER. You are a fun-loving breed with a devil-may-care attitude toward life. Your refreshing outlook endears you to your close friends and many acquaintances. They love having you around because of your light-hearted nature, witty jokes and nose for fun can (and do) enliven any social situation. You are interested in and excited about many different things. Such varied interests make you a well-rounded individual but they may also create a tendency towards distraction. You are one of the lucky dogs who will always be a kid at heart!

UncleBeer:

If I remember correctly the Bernese Mountain Dog is similar in stature of that of a St. Bernard. They are usually dark brown with similar fur of the St. Bernard. I forget what they are bred for, but something comes into mind fishing, but I may be loosing it < grin >

Well, I am so wrong, I missed the link that Canth posted.

< duh >

What is the name of that dog then I am thinking of, anyone?

I am not the type of dog that could keep you waiting for no good reason. Run a carbon black test on my jaw, and you will find it’s all been said before.

Seriously, I’m also a Burmese Mountain Dog.

Canthearya: I clicked on your link, and got a Shih Tzu, which I am decidedly NOT.
