What kind of dog are you?

What I feel like: Carolina Dog (also called Yellow Dog):

:frowning: It says I’m a Pekingese!

I think of myself as a swift, elegant, useful animal, but it says I’m one of those dumpy, hairy little lap dogs that rich old women carry around and pet with their clawlike, bejeweled hands.

I blame the question about height. Just because I’m 5’2" doesn’t mean I have to be a lap-dog! (Does it?)

There, I just re-did the quiz, answering every question exactly the same way, except I said I was 6 feet tall. Now I’m a Gordon Setter.

Much better.

I’m a Leonberger!

Never heard of them until now, but that’s actually pretty accurate, if I do say so myself!

Bloodhound

Now I just need to E-mail the powers that be and request that they change my username to "Flash".

Good god, they say I’m a Bichon Bolognese. Please don’t get the wrong idea. I am most definitely a complete mutt.

How funny, I came out as a Border Collie. Funny, because that’s what I own and have bred. No, I didn’t try to weigh the quiz with answers taht fit my dog, but that fit me. No wonder we get along so well.

the test said old english sheepdog… but if I’d get a dog it’d be a black lab.

English Cocker Spaniel here.

Another English Setter here …

Holy shit. Oops, sorry.

I got a Finnish Spitz. Which happens to be the dog breed I want that no one else has ever heard of. I’ve actually wrote one into stories too. What are the odds?! I guess I know now why I want one, they’re tempermentally like me…and here I thought it was just because their fur matches my hair

Origin:
Finland. Known in its native land as Suomenpstykorva, which means “cock-eared dog” this breed is the national dog of Finland and it is mentioned in a number of heroic Finnish national songs. It was once used by Lapp hunters to track elk and polar bears, but is now popular throughout Scandinavia for hunting grouse and game birds.

Personality:
While still a favorite with hunters this breed is kept almost entirely as a companion and show dog, which means many of them have given themselves up to luxury and pampering. Good with children and happy to settle into domestic life, you’d never believe this animal once helped to kill bears.

Bearded Collie.

Ugh. I’ve never met one I didn’t want to kick!

I’m a Basenji. Hm, never heard of it. I’m used for hunting because of my intelligence. Don’t like wet weather. I also act a lot like a cat and have no doggie smell. Yay

I’m a Finnish Spitz. Never heard of them before but they’re kind of cute.

Belgian Shepherd. Never heard of the breed, but if I had to come back as a dog, that would do nicely.
Woof.

Borzoi (Russian Wolfhound)

…does not take kindly to teasing.

heh. I wish I had that temporment in high school.

Black Russian Terrier, fear me.

Hop on! I’ll give you a fast ride!

The missus turned out to be a Pug. Who knew?

MUNSTERLANDER (small)

I’m a setter/spaniel cross. I point & retrieve. Cool. I’m multi-talented.

Un-Flipping-Real.

I am a Saluki. Which, by the way is the mascot of my beloved alma-mater.

I bleed maroon.

Go Dawgs!
