What kind of wing is this?

I was at work next to Highway 14 in Lancaster, CA and when I was outside I saw the police escorting a large truck heading north. It was maybe going 30 mph and on this HUGE trailer was a very large wing. It had to have been between 60 and 80 feet long about 6 feet wide and only a few inches thick. If I had to guess it was on its way to Edwards Air Force Base since it was headed in that direction.

Unfortunately I did not see its opposite wing later on that day and I was looking for it since I wanted to take a picture. Anyone have any idea what it could be?

It was almost certainly a blade for a wind turbine.

It was probably one of three identical blades for a wind turbine, as Absolute says.

The area around Tehachapi (not so far from Edwards AFB) is thick with them.
