What “minor” streaming services do you like?

Amazon Freevee has a hysterical show called “Jury Duty”, in which they’re conducting a civil trial and everyone is an actor except one person who thinks it’s real. James Marsden plays an exaggeratedly egotistical version of himself. Some strange shit happens.

Absolutely. I’m amazed it took me so long to start digging in. Full runs of Mutant X and the Robocop TV show, about a thousand documentaries about B-movies and Bettie Page, more horror flicks than the best extinct video store…my bookmarks on Tubi outnumber those on all my other streaming services and I know I’ll never watch all the schlock and junk on offer.

Highly recommend…Jury Duty.

As far as the service, I accessed the show through my normal Amazon account and didn’t realize it took me somewhere else for awhile.

Freevee has X-files and Fringe for those that are into that sort of thing.

My LG TV uses its WebOS platform, which unfortunately doesn’t support many of the streaming services mentioned here, like Passport or TCM. The way around that is to plug in a Roku stick or via the YouTube app. WebOS sucks.

However, you can scroll through the hundreds of apps that they do support, and I found a new favorite: Live Trains, with front facing views of some fun railroad trips around the world. It’s the kind of thing that you can have running in the background but still is interesting once in a while. On the other hand, my wife came into the room, took a look at the TV, shook her head, and walked away.

I just started exploring Freevee after I watched Jury Duty (LOVED) on it. It looks great!

Well, Amazon owns Freevee (originally IMDBTV) so it wasn’t really taking you anywhere else. I know hard to tell with the way Amazon also lets you connect to many other streaming services through their own service.
