What movies can you watch every time they're on?

For me, it’s Lost Boys, The Five Heartbeats and Coming to America. The Breakfast Club used to be up there, too. I’ll watch the rest of these movies and groan that I missed part of them.

Stephen King’s big four: The Shawshank Redemption, Stand by Me, Misery and The Green Mile.

And The Blues Brothers.

Goodfellas is a massive blackhole of my time.

“Ooohh… this scene’s a good one. I’ll watch that and turn it off… oohh… this is the scene where… Ooohh… I love the camera work in this scene…”

Wouldn’t be so bad except it’s so long (and longer with commercials).

Nothing that I ALWAYS watch when I come across it, but Idiocracy is close. I’ll stop on Rocky Horror, and often get caught up in the songs. Zombieland is a new entry to the list. So many of my favorites, I burned out working at a video store - Ghostbusters, Office Space, Big Trouble in Little China, Groundhog Day, and many more.

Joe

Yup - doesn’t matter where it is in the movie, I’ll sit down and watch as much Goodfellas as I can get away with.

Hellboy also.

Yep, that’s the one I came in here to say. And it’s on all the time too, and on a lot of different channels. I’ve even seen it on Lifetime.

There’s also Rock Star with Mark Wahlberg. Yeah, go ahead and laugh. But, if I see this on TV, I’ll get sucked in. I’m a sucker for this “Behind the Music” type tales. If nothing else, it’s worth a viewing to see Dominic West, aka Detective McNulty, in full-on '80s hair metal regalia.

The original Star Wars trilogy.

The Blues Brothers.

The Mummy.

Blues Brothers
Groundhog Day
Kelly’s Heroes
Smokey and the Bandit
Office Space
Breakfast Club
Diehard

Overboard (wha? I like it…)
Summer Rental (I love John Candy. Also Uncle Buck & Planes, Trains & Automobiles (did I mention that I LOVE John Candy?)
Mad Max
Behind Enemy Lines

Fargo
Apollo 13
Forrest Gump

A Few Good Men
My Cousin Vinny
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
The Devil’s Advocate

Many of the one’s already named including “Overboard” (don’t feel bad, Becky2844) although now I generally limit it to the first 45 minutes or so.

If they were ever on, which they’re not, Sweet Smell of Success and My Favorite Year, would qualify.

Spaceballs
Blazing Saddles
Office Space
Star Wars Episode IV or V
My Cousin Vinny

Groundhog Day
About A Boy
Ghost World
The Big Lebowski

Is that the one where Goldie Hawn is climbing a ladder with the camera viewing from behind/below? Best scene ever.

As Good as It Gets.

Casino
Point Break (I blame my husband)
The Shawshank Redemption
The Usual Suspects
Grease

I will also admit that I watch Rock Star if it is on, plus I have the Rock Star soundtrack on my iPod.

That’s the one! Even as a straight chick *I *find that scene kind of mesmerizing. You do realize you’re not actually seeing Ms. Hawn’s ass but flesh colored material? It took me many viewings to figure out exactly what she’s wearing (though there’s no denying she looks damned good doing it).

I’d rather not discuss Ms. Hawn’s ass right now, thank you. There’s work here that needs done!

Some of mine have already been mentioned:
Groundhog Day
Office Space
Ghostbusters

Not mentioned yet:
Back to the Future
The Wedding Singer
