My best discovery was a copy of the previous year’s Sweet’s Files that I got from an architecture firm. This was an encyclopedia size set of catalogs for building materials. Doesn’t sound like it would yield much, but the “Sauna” section featured some of the most remarkable photography of beautiful naked women lying on redwood planks, drenched in sweat with blissful expressions on their faces.

Edie McClurg was in that scene. She talked about it in a radio interview. She noticed they were filming her part in slo-mo. So, she shook her hair as the camera passed, and she really stood out.
