In case anyone’s interested, if you watch when they show Jimmy shooting up in his bedroom, one of the bottles is labeled Marinol, which is basically prescription THC.
If they wanted to look at steroid use in sports from a different angle, they could’ve ended with something like:
“Using artificial testosterone to enhance your performance is just wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong! We want our sports heroes to have mutant testicles that produce ungodly amounts of testosterone naturally!”

Well, I thought it had more to do with the recent BALCO indictments, hence Giambi and Bonds (personally, I thought McGwire being included was a bit unfair, as the andro he used in '98 was legal at the time).
Still, nicely topical and I enjoyed it.
I loved how they even managed to fit in references to Gibson’s The Passion. One of the things that’s kept South Park so funny for so long is how timely the humor is. They include current topics while other shows often run weeks or even months behind current events.
Ummmmm. I think the clear implication was that McGwire wasn’t using just andro. IIRC his name was mentioned in the BALCO fiasco.
