Steamed hams?
Using m&ms would be good, but you would need something to attract the eye
Better would be something with an aroma that has range and striking power. Cinnamon rolls have been mentioned and I actually experienced their attractive power. Years ago, when the cafe I worked in was getting ready to open, in our newly remodeled library, there was an evening tour of the facility for employees and their family members. At the cafe we were making cinnamon rolls, to check out how long it took. As the smell wafted through the building people began drifting down to our end of the place, to check it out. We could have sold a lot if we had been open for business.
Popcorn has a good scent, or baking bread. Also the nuts and bacon that have been mentioned
I know! Cinnamon-dusted nanaimo bars!
(Why has no-one made this?)
No probing? Forget it then, deal’s off.
Fresh baked bread with a tub of creamy butter standing by is very hard to resist.
I found that out on a field trip to the bread factory. They gave us samples.
Well there is probing in the VIP “Champagne Room,” but it will cost extra.
I hope they use cinnamon buns, because based on this thread, everyone will be running towards the aliens while I’m walking the other way. God I hate cinnamon. Those Cinnabon shops can stink up a whole mall.
Fruits and nuts.
Pizza. And label your food kiosks “To Serve Man”
It’s a cookbook
Beer.
Cheese.
Treating the subject semi-seriously, I think aromatic baked goods - bread, cookies, cinnamon buns - are the way to go. M&Ms and ice cream are pretty universally liked, I think, but the prey would have to notice the bait. It’s a whole lot easier to catch a nose than an eye.
You got my attention.
Almost anything that comes inside a roll and can be eaten with your hands. Like a burrito or a fritter.
If not that then some sort of muffins.
Hmm… those words all appear to be English, but don’t seem to make sense as arranged… ![]()
Bourbon.
Rice?
Soylent green!
