Foods you wish existed

I brought his up in a different thread and thought it would be interesting as its own thread:

I wish they made chocolate chip cookies without the chips. Like like chocolate chip cookies but I would like to just taste the cookie part sometimes. One time some company had a magazine ad where they pictured this kind of cookie and I got excited thing it was real but realized they were using it as an example of something that was incomplete. So disappointed.

What kind of food would you like to see?

I’m waiting for them to come out with the Jalepeno Cheese flavored Cheetos in the puffy variety. Always with the crunchy. What’s the matter with these people?

Fish bread. An ordinary loaf of bread, but with a zesty fish flavor to it. You’ve got garlic bread; why not shrimp bread? Or anchovy bread?

Bagels and lox, right? So why not a lox bagel, with the flavor baked right into the bread?

Also: a blueberry milkshake! Yum! I’m sure there actually is such a thing, but I’ve never seen it.

I haven’t baked in years, but I used to make chocolate chipless cookies. Delicious.

Bread that doesn’t go to crap when you heat it in the microwave.

I would love to have hot sandwiches at work.
Also, I wish BBQ Fritos ( the original, not that honey twist crap)and sugar free Kool Aid were a thing again.

The Pizza Crepe Taco Pancake Chili Bag that I keep hoping Taco Town will serve someday.

Lembas.

Dammit, I came in just to post that. :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh well, how about ent-draughts, or miruvor then.

I wish cookies would grow like tomatoes or peppers. That way they would count as a vegetable. Or possibly a fruit.

It’s pretty easy to make chocolate chip cookies. Even easier if you don’t add the chips. And even more easier if you don’t want to bake them.

[Homer Simpson]A magical animal that you can get bacon, pork and ham from.[/Homer Simpson]

Butter pecan ice cream without the pecans. I am not a fan of things I have to chew in my ice cream.

I can get this at Cold Stone and the like, but I would love Blue Bell to make it.

You know, if you ask them, they’ll add onion rings, cheese curds, and BBQ chicken nuggets to that. It’s a secret menu item.

Zero calorie pizza.

A perfect breakfast muffin. I can make them myself, but I don’t understand why there isn’t a convenient one on the market. Take any normal muffin recipe that you like the flavor of and replace half the flour with whey powder. Add soluble fiber to equal 1/2 the RDA per serving, and vitamin supplement “chips” (much like the chewable gummi vitamins) in a complementary flavor.

Now seriously, how hard was that? It’s delicious, convenient, and provides all your vitamins, half your protein and half your fiber for the day in one compact meal.
IAW, I still want bachelor chow. No I haven’t tried soylent yet, but I keep meaning to do so.

And that beer that has candy floating in it…you know, Skittlebrau.

Somebody actually tried making that in real life.

If you have a Sonic’s or a Dairy Queen, you might ask about a blueberry milkshake.

So much yes. I’m always looking for the chocolate chip cookie with the fewest chips. Then I have to decide my order of attack - do I eat the chippiest part first so that I can savor the chip free area, or do I go for the chip free bestest part first and then finish with the chippy part? The only solution is to eat far too many chocolate chip cookies.

Sure, I could bake my own, but that’s, like, effortfull…

I think it was once discussed here that was maple ice cream.

Actually chocolate chip cookies are supposed to have just that, one chocolate chip per cookie. Least that is something I thought.
