I’d say the straw fedora and seersucker suit more than those. But between the tape recorder and the camera, I think it would very clearly be the tape recorder. I may be misremembering, but I don’t recall him using the camera much, but he always had the tape recorder, and a large element of every episode were the diegetic voiceovers, which were the audio notes on the case Kolchak was dictating into that tape recorder.
