FFX-2: Charlie’s Angels meets FFX - wee!
SSX 3: I’m a huge SSX fanboy
PAL version of Dark Cloud 2.
Fatal Frame was scary, but then it turned out to be pretty much the same scare over and over. i.e. Ghosts. It got to be too much like RE with ghost instead of zombies. There were some scary elements, but not enough creepiness to keep me interested. I suppose I should try to finish it someday.
Lots. ESPN NHL Hockey (formerly the 2K series), Time Crisis 3, SSX 3, Ratchet and Clank 2, Gran Turismo 4, Metal Gear Solid 3, the new Sam and Max game (it is coming, right? I know it’s definetly on PC and Xbox…).
Could someone please give me their opinions on Resident Evil: Veronica X, and RE:Dead Aim?
I’d like to pick them up if they’re any good, but I don’t want to waste my money on stinkers either.
Thanks in advance,
-j
That should be “Dead Aim”
I’m looking forward to Manhunt from Rockstar North.

Veronica was just plain limp. No real horror, forced “trouble situation” started by cut scenes that make you roll your eyes
“Gee, I just pulled this lever that will make the big freight elevator come from the darkness below, I think now I’ll just stand here trapped in this corner while it comes up. Oh look! The elevator platform is full of zombies! I think I’ll stay in this corner and not do anything, after all I can be easily attack on both sides from here! Wouldn’t want to go over the the other side of the platform where they’d have a harder time getting to, no sir, no sir. Oh look the elevator o’ zombies has arrived. I think I’ll still stand here and wait for them. Look the gate opened and they’re pouring off the platform 3 feet from where I’m standing. Maybe I should’ve done something. I’d blame the guy with the control pad but I guess he couldn’t do anything durin ghe cutscene.”
I hate the way Resident Evil forces you into illogcal situations like that.
Haven’t played dead aim though.
I agree- and I like the way you put it: forced situations, which is why I asked before purchasing.
RE0 did alot of that crap, which was a bummer, because RE1 for the GameCube was awesome.
Other than Fatal Frame, and FF2, are there any other good survival games out there? (I just got the PS2 yesterday, and already have Silent Hill 3)
What is Manhunt?
What is Ratchet and Clank 2?
What is Dead Aim?
In addition to giving the names, can you guys kinda describe them a little bit??
They’re calling it Jak 2 and are taking it in a darker direction. I’m not so sure I approve but that one, Sly Cooper 2, any Final Fantasy.
But most especially Kingdom Hearts 2. Dammit I want it now. If I thought throwing myself on ground and screaming like a baby would get it quicker I’d do it.
Download the Deep Dive video. just punch in “Deep Dive” into a “Search engine” and it should pop up and be easy to download. It’s a beefy download at 60 megs or so, but it’s worth it.
Heres a hint: Double Keyblades, beefed up heartless.
Thanks Mercutio but I’ve already seen it.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH But I want 2 now!
Manhunt is a game by Rockstar North, the folks who brought us the Grand Theft Auto games. You start out as a criminal slated for execution. A man calling himself The Director fakes your execution and uses you for his own nefarious purposes. Here’s a quote from PSM magazine.

The game isn’t just a shoot 'em up. You have to employ stealth or you’ll end up getting the short end of some killer’s shotgun. Weapons include hammers, plastic bags, shotguns, shards of glass, and a many many others. All in all it looks like a disturbingly fun game. Certainly not for kids though.

Ratchet and Clank 2: Going Commando
Whiplash, Ratchet and Clank 2, and Jak and Daxter 2
Where do I even start?
Maximo vs Army of Zin
Simpsons: Hit & Run
The Suffering
Mega Man X7
Alias
007: Everything or Nothing
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds
Futurama
NBA Jam
Too many games, not enough time.
