WHAT IS A LIE

What is a lie what does it imply?
Is it something we say to make things go our way?
Is a lie, simply leaving something out?
What is a lie really about? Doubt?
Does it make you glad or leave you mad?
Is it something we say to make pain delay?
What is a lie what does it imply?
Some of it,or just enough to get by?
Something that hurts us deep inside?
What is a lie what does it imply?
Something said to get ahead,
Or just fuck with your head,
Perhaps it get you in bed
Is it something we promised to do ,and never did.
Or something that we hid.
A thought not spoken?
Something said simply joking?
To me a lie is trust broken.
