What Rock Band Would You Want To Reunite?

New Kids on the Block

Just Kidding!!!

I can’t believe I omitted this. They are my all-time favorite band, but I guess I didn’t think of them as disbanded. I still wonder what could have been if Keith were still around. :frowning:

Wow, the power of resurrection. Jerry Garcia or John Lennon? I’d have to go with Jerry. At least you know he’d play with the band.

The Talking Heads. They played at their induction to the R&R HOF and they seemed not as irreconcilable as in years past, but I’m not holding my breath.

My Bloody Valentine. OK, they are technically not broken up, even though it’s just Kevin and Belinda now, but come on- Loveless was 11 freakin’ years ago. Either put out a new album or admit yer dead.

Skinny Puppy. Sure, cEVIN & Ogre played that festival in Germany last year, but with Dwayne dead it just ain’t the same.

And personally I hope The Clash stays broken up. They are much cooler that way.

Pink Floyd

Not to spoil the party, but… just a quick query re the OP. Are we re-uniting these people as they were at the peak of their abilities, or getting them back together as they are now (or would be if un-dead)?

I mean, I’m a Beatles fan and all, but I don’t think there would be much ‘Fab’ about getting them back as they are or would be now in 2002.

My vote goes for Hendrix with the Jimi Hendrix Experience (Mitchell and Redding). I think given either scenario (as now or as were) he’d still have plenty to offer.

Never gonna happen. The offical story is that Agnetha will never do it again, and Bjorn wants to gain recognition as a composer of musicals. Unoffical word from an e-friend who has worked with him is the couple went through a really, really bad divorce and can’t even be in the same room together.

I’m jus really, really pissed cause Bjorn won’t let the songs in Mamma Mia be translated for the foreign language versions.

First answer: Cows

and, they’re all still alive, so no deals with the devil are necessary.

Next, John Zorn’s Naked City.

Don’t know if they’re broken up, or if their paths will just never cross again. But man oh man, what talent…

Honorable to Jesus Lizard and Pixies and Refused, whom I would pick up in my time machine in the middle of their careers, bring back to the future, and keep them locked in my basement, after which I would release a string of brilliant records to much critical praise.
If I could bring anyone back from the dead, it’d probably be Mozart.

The Smiths, but it better be soon. In a couple of years, they’ll just look too old.
