Calling on Dopers to share their multingual vulgarities: How would you convey the same sentiments as Go Fck yourself (asterix because I’m not sure what policy is on profanity outside of the Pit) in other languages? It doesn’t have to translate exactly to that as long as it’s the same sentiment. For that matter, what terms are synonymous or convey the same insult as motherfcker?
Any language at all is fine, but if you use non Latin characters please also write it phonetically so we’ll have an idea how it’s pronounced, and if it has a meaning other than GFY or MF please translate.
In Spanish, it’s “Que te jodas!” (Literally “Fuck yourself.”)
One of the worst insults you can use in Spanish, with a similar force to “motherfucker,” would be “cabron.” Literally it means male goat, but it also implies “cuckold.”
I think you misunderstand the use of the familiar vs formal forms in French (and other Romance languages).
Using the familiar form (te) does not necessarily indicate you are friendly with someone. You use it both in situations where you don’t have to be polite (with family or friends), or where you don’t want to be polite (when you are insulting someone). You use the formal form (vous) when you want to be polite. Saying “allez-vous faire foutre” is like saying “Kindly please fuck yourself, sir.”
I don’t have the Yiddish handy, but it translates as “Go shit in the ocean.” Leave it to the Jews to scruple when it comes to telling people to fuck off.
If you really, really want to tell someone to fuck off in Spanish, Me cago en la leche de tu puta madre (“I shit in the milk of your whore mother”), used by Hemingway in For Whom the Bell Tolls, is hard to beat.
Italian is “va fanculo,” (sometimes rendered “vaffuncolo” which is more of an English transliteration) slang derived from “va a fare in culo” or “go do it in the ass,” and used exactly like “fuck you” or “fuck yourself” in English.
I can’t remember the Italian words for these (I was just a kid), and they are not “dirty” or obscene, but the English translations to the two I remember fondly are:

The boat that brought you over should have sunk*
At least they’re not the same old boring fuck variations.
I would use ¡que te jodan! or ¡que te den (pol culo)! There’s also ¡que te folle un pez! (may a fish fuck you), for which I’ve heard the variation ¡que te folle un pez… espada! (may a sword fish penetrate you - with the sword, of course)
Joder has a double meaning of “fuck” and “spoil, make bad, break”; “estoy jodido” doesn’t mean “I’ve been having sex” but “I’m screwed”. And the version “may you get fucked up the ass” has additional connotations of wishing extra pain and humiliation.
I’ve heard people say “que le den si no le gusta, y si le gusta, ¡que no le den!” - may he get fucked up the ass if he does not like it, and if he does like it, may he not!
Chíngate is a single word, as is jódete. The pronoun of reflexive verbs is stuck to the rest, not separated.
Italian, which I know I’m not spelling right, is vafa’nculo (go take it up the ass, again).
It convinced me that while learning Hungarian might be a bit out of reach, their curses were certainly a lot more colorful thana anything English had to offer. lo’fasz a seggedbe!
My girlfriend is Italian, and in addition to “va fan culo” (mentioned above), she uses “cazzo” (CAT-so) a lot, which literally means “dick” but is rendered as we would “fuck” - it’s a multi-purpose swear.
Cantonese has a rich seam of swearing. The classic “fuck off” insult, in the argot of Hong Kong street language almost ineffective due to its constant repetition, is:
Diu leh
Literally “fuck you”, though it’s commonly rendered as:
Diu leh lo mo.
Literally “fuck your old mother” but also used as an equivalent “fuck off”. Add chao hai on the end for emphasis, to mean “fuck your old mother’s smelly cunt”.
But there are others that have a similar purpose. Worse than fucking your mother is:
Pok gai.
Literally “fall down”, the implication being that if you dropped dead, nobody would remove your body.
The ultimate “fuck off” style swear bomb of all, though, is:
Ham gaa tsaan.
Which means “your family die” - wishing death on the recipient’s family - and will likely get you punched in the face.
jebi se (Slovenian, but probably also Croatian, Serbain etc.), which literally mean fuck you. In dutch we don’t have a from that includes the verb that means ‘fucking’ but we’d generally say rot op, shich I find hard to translate, but would mean something like ‘go and rot away’.
Shi-bal is more like an exclamation: Fuck! or Shit! If you want to tell someone to go fuck themselves, you would say something like “yut-muh-guh” (go eat shit) or “kkuh-jyuh” (fuck off).
