Osmyrrah. It is the fragrance of a table-top tube radio playing a segment of Everthing Taken into Account while sitting on the window ledge of the third floor library stacks as the wind blows in melancholy suggestions of a rainy day in early November.
I’m too moist as it is. When I put moisturizer on my gf’s back (at her request) I have to scrub my hands afterwards to get rid of the greasy feeling.
Angel for men.
I like it bc it’s a very light scent and very hard to accidentally put too much on.
I like that!
Omnia Coral By Bvlgari is my spring/summer scent (it’s light and fruity) and for fall/winter I use Athens by Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. It smells sooo good, like musky honey. I would wear it all the time, but it’s a little heavy for hot weather.
My favorite and the one I wear when going out socially is “Dior Miss Dior Eau de Parfum”. I’m not going to wear that for everyday work cause it’s too expensive! LOL
If I wear a scent, it’s usually Dragon Hide, a blend of leather and myrrh with a touch of dragon’s blood.
When I want to feel extra fresh, I use Happy for men by Clinique. Otherwise, I pretty much never wear any scent beyond whatever is in the Old Spice Body Wash (I think maybe it’s cedarwood?) Only in the last few months have I been extra sensitive to smells and how they make me feel, hence the addition of Happy to the medicine cabinet.
It’s a natural musk. I rather enjoy it.
I was going to say nothing at all, but I guess my beard oil is “Moroccan mint and cedar” scent, so there is that.
I have a bottle of Stetson Country cologne that I got in college (from which I graduated 20 years ago). It’s still mostly full. Part of it is that on special occasions when I might actually want to wear cologne I always forget about it, just because I’m not in the habit of using it.
Eu de Speed Stick and Gold Bond. Haven’t worn any kind of cologne or after shave in years due to my psoriasis.
Classic Old Spice
Usually when I’m dressed for the office or church.
I don’t wear any fragrances at home.
I like Talc after a shower. This is the brand my barber used. I’ve used it since college. Just a little on my chest and upper arms.
I’m sensitive to a lot of scents. Probably comes from the holiday season that I spent trying to demo them at local department stores. That said, I do have a favorite, Roger & Gallet’s Gingembre (Ginger). I only use the shower gel and sometimes the hand crème. The shower gel, I use as a hand soap as my nose can’t handle more than a tiny bit of scent. The hand crème gets used in harshest winter on my fingernail cuticles. Otherwise, most every cleanser and lotion I use is unscented.
After I was fully vaccinated I decided to get a haircut by a professional, instead of cutting my own. I asked my friend Mike where he went, since he always looked so good.
So I went to this guy and was extremely satisfied, except for how I smelled. When I got home I took a hot shower and no longer smelled like a French Harlot.
Next time I saw Mike I was thanking him for the referral, when I noticed he absolutely reeked. Before I mentioned how pungent the barber’s stuff was, it hit me that that’s what Mike smelled like.
Turns out he really liked the barber’s parfume, so he bought some. Glad I didn’t put my foot in my mouth.
I’m so freakin’ hyper-sensitive to fragrances, I don’t use colognes, my wife uses no perfumes, I wash with Ivory soap and use Mennen Speed Stick for axillary purposes.
I swear, you’d think I went down to the discount sinuses store and bought the crummiest floor model available.
I had to check the OP to see if the question was for men only, but it looks like a few women have answered.
I alternate among Bal a Versailles, L’Heure Bleue, and Mitsouko. I like the old fashioned perfumes. A lot of the more modern scents have a harsh chemical smell to me. I can remember when Giorgio perfume inserts were in nearly every magazine I was reading, and they were automatic migraine triggers for me. Plus, I thought it smelled like bug spray.
I don’t use a scent, but my shower soap smells like tea tree oil, and my hand soap smells like clove. I was using clove scented lip balm for a while, but i became sensitive to it, so I’m back to peppermint.
The tea tree soap was purchased on a whim, but i really like it and have been using it for a couple of years, now.
Me too.
That’s why I like #4711. It’s very mild and pleasant. Doesn’t cause me any problem. Or itch.
YMMV
I haven’t found anything I like. Maybe I will buy Avon Night Musk someday.
Uh… Suave coconut shampoo? And I fart at will.
