Actually, I came into this thread specifically to mention you. Whenever anyone posts their life events, triumphs, and tragedies, **Khadaji **is always there with words of congratulations, encouragement or condolences. I think you’re an absolute sweetheart. (And a fine looking gentleman, too.)

And I second Stranger’s nomination. The guy explains high-science-y things in a way my humanities-wired brain can understand, without dumbing it down, and usually with a few laughs to boot. That takes some talent.

I’ll give a shout out to another who PMed me, but may not want to mentioned by name. The PM made my day yesterday.
While I do admire, respect, or like quite many posters, there is one who, in my mind, stands head and shoulders above the rest. It isn’t just because he’s probably the most intelligent person I’ve ever personally encountered, but he has a way — both intellectually and emotionally — of getting across a point, no matter how complicated, with just the right combination of precision and understandability. He remains patient, good natured, and even humble no matter how many times or how many ways he has to explain something. He has the unique quality (especially around here) of leaving you feeling that you are more important to him than his point is, while at the same time making his point practically unassailable.
I’m talking about Indistinguishable. It is a great honor to post on the same board as he.

I don’t necessarily agree with everything Der Trihs says (though I do agree with most of it), but I find him extremely smart, entertaining, and above all, intellectually honest to a degree I rarely see in anybody. I’m genuinely interested to see what he thinks about a given topic, which is rare.
I also enjoy Liberal’s posts quite a bit.
