What shall we call the latest Bush scandal?

Or that a lot of us are incredibly stupid: War poll uncovers fact gap

“WASHINGTON - A third of the American public believes U.S. forces have found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, according to a recent poll. Twenty-two percent said Iraq actually used chemical or biological weapons.”

AAAAAAAAAAAUGH!

Truly, we have always been at war with Oceania.

That is the most utterly terrifying thing I have read in a long time. Jesus H., we are truly stupid.

70% of Americans believe in angels too. Most Americans are morons. Have you ever seen that Jay Leno bit where goes on the street and askes people simple simple questions like “Who is the vice-president?” or “What continent is Iraq in?” It’s scary, and what’s more, I think the power elite depends on that stupidity for its own survival. The Bushies know that their core supporters are idiots who don’t read newspapers, can’t follow even televison news if it isn’t about the latest kidnapping or murder, and get most of their “information” fom talk radio, their idiot friends, and the occasional local news teaser during “Joe Millionaire.”

We are a nation in decline, my friends. We are like Rome and Shrub is like Nero…except without the intelligence or personal charisma.

Gaudere strikes again…

I think that just shows what Bush is good at. Bush is bad at many things, but he is good at telling what is technically the truth in order to make people believe lies. This only works as long as democrats remain spineless and never challenge Bush on anything.

I’ve always thought of Bush as one of the best things to ever happen to the Democratic party. For the first time in a while Republicans have been responsible for everything that happened in the past few years and Clinton is seen as responsible for the years before that. Though it is possible that most democrats could mess things up for themselves by imitating Blair.

From Max Harvey’s link:

Surely, “that shifted to humanitarian reasons when they saw no evidence of a national-security threat”?
In other news, the understatement of the year award goes to this guy:

It is patently clear that many Americans don’t know their arse from their elbow.
Go Bush!
