The buyer isn’t a registered ebay user, which tells ME they kicked him off. I checked their other auctions, and most of their panties (all they sell is used panties) sell for between $2 and $10
So… I don’t think they actually sold for $10,000 I think some guy just bid that as a joke and didn’t pay. 
So is there a schedule? When – roughly, of course – can we in sunny So Cal (actually, cloudy and gloomy So. Cal today 
) expect Underbear to arrive?

The bear just arrived.
There is more Under than Bear. The poor thing is up to his/her armpits in undies! Cute bear, though. I like the gold ribbon/belt.
We shall be visiting the highlights of central Florida for the next couple of days. I’m getting a pair of dark glasses. :o Well, it’s sunny here in Florida (except it’s fortyflippin’seven degrees right now. I may have to make a bathrobe for him/her.)

**The Offical Straight Dope Get Yer Name On The List To Receive Women’s Underpants On A Bear List Is Now Officially Closed. **
I have been bombarded with last minute entries and fortunately, Screech Owl is still in posession of UB, sooo it wasn’t too hard to add the stragglers on the list.
The way the mailing works, is whomever has the package, gets to pick from the pre-addressed mailing labels to mail it to the next person on the list. It is completely random.
Other than that, all I have to say is that UB missed one hell of a snowstorm inwhich he could have really helped out shoveling snow, sledding and building snowmen.

As I was reading thru the pages, I envisioned pictures of UnderBear in front of Oriole Park at Camden Yards…UnderBear in front of PSI Net Stadium (go Ravens)…UnderBear at the Inner Harbor…UnderBear at Hard Rock Cafe in Baltimore…UnderBear holding a vile of crack (oops!).

Underwear bear died a sad sad sad death…well…not died, but all the cameras and undeveloped pictures taken were ruined somewhere in his travels ( I’m guessing by Xray machine in some post office/customs/space station) and so, depressed, sullen and totally bummed out, I sent what I had ( a very fun journal and some already developed pictures with knick knack souveniers, along to the owner of UnderWear Bear. This was back in the last milleneum…I can’t even recall when…late summer, I think.
But I am thinking of starting up another one…

Yes, RC, UB had his supercolossalhero cape on as he made the journey to whence his underpants belonged. My girlfriend loved it.
