I’m seeing Weird Al this very evening. I did a search on “what to wear to a Weird Al concert”, and imagine my surprise to find a thread on the venerable SDMB. My current plan is jeans, my Berserker t-shirt (from Clerks), Hawaiian shirt (can’t decide between the purple one and the one with skulls).
Is that still appropriate? Hawaiian shirts have picked up a bit of an unsavory connotation recently.

Full dress tux, top hat, monocle and mismatched sneakers.
If you’re gonna wear a full suit, might as well go with an Amish one. Some fake dreads would complete the outfit.

Just back from the show. Dress code hasn’t changed much. Geekery in all its many forms was in full flower; Hawaiian shirts included. This tour is for rarities and deep cuts. When was the last you heard Midnight Star or Buy Me a Condo?
