I believe Meeko was alluding to the fact that the entire point of Double Dare was to take squeeky clean kids on squeeky clean white tile floors and cover them in chocolate sauce, green slime, black sludge, and red liquid.

Ah, I get it. My OCD habits involved repetition, so I thought it was a play on the show’s title. I forgot about the Adrian Monk-style germaphobic sort of OCD.
I’m pretty sure Marc Summers’ cleanliness-manifesting OCD was diagnosed while Double Dare was on the air. And, this being the mid-80s, it was in the earlier stages of public awareness. So maybe he felt uncomfortable in the job to start, and was able to give his feelings a name by the end of his hosting tour.
And Cliffy, you forgot whipped and/or shaving cream.
I saw him on Howard Stern a while ago talking about his OCD (which Howard claims to have). He seemed like a decent guy, so I’m glad he didn’t sink into total obscurity.
