What shows do you watch that don't get threads?

Every week there’s umpteen threads for Buffy and The Simpsons, but what shows do you watch that just don’t seem to make the Cafe Society cut? For me there’s: Crossing Jordan; The Real World; Tough Enough; She Spies; Changing Rooms; While You Were Out; House Invaders. Many of these have had the periodic scattered thread that quickly died (so please don’t exhaust the hamsters dredging them up) but they just don’t seem to catch on. What’s your list and why do you think they aren’t threadworthy?

]Otto, anytime you want to start up a Real World thread I’ll be there with bells on, and I’m pretty sure there are others out there like us. I may have to part ways with you on Tough Enough, though, as much as I like Triple H. The other shows I watch regularly (Angel, Buffy, Sopranos, Six Feet Under, ER, CSI, Survivor, and Simpsons–I’m an hour-long-drama kind of girl) all tend to get threads started, whether it’s for discussion or just clarification. I think RW is threadworthy in more of a gossipy sense; there’s no large issues raised like in Buffy, Sopranos, or SFU, and no competitive interest like in Survivor or Amazing Race, but there is the fact that RW makes me feel like a completely normal person because everyone on it is so messed up.

Anyone up for an OZ thread when the new–and final–season starts in January?

For me Smallville, though, honestly any thread I start would be about how the show is failing to live up to the promise I showed in its first season. Of course, I already have my own message boards to gripe about that with my old college roommate, so I don’t really mind the lack of interest over here.

Boomtown and Scrubs. ER pops up every once in a while, as does CSI and West Wing.

Sabado Gigante, but it’s more for the camp value of Don Francisco than anything else.

Um, none, actually. Guess I’m just too hip and trendy for my own good.

Haunted, where ever it went. :frowning:
Animal Psychic (I’ll consider this my guilty pleasure), The New Detectives, CSI, Unsolved History.
Okay, okay… and Crossing Over w/ John Edwards. sigh

Most quiz shows. When was the last University Challenge thread?

The only programs I really watch on a regular basis are the Daily Show on Comedy Central and Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. There’s usually not a whole lot to be said about either program after the fact – if they were showing Lain or Boogiebop Phantom or something along those lines then I wouldn’t be too surprised if a thread popped up on it, but there’s really not much to be said about Space Ghost Coast To Coast.

Law & Order franchise

*This Old House

New Yankee Workshop

Jeopardy!

Enterprise*
…oh wait…
forget the last one…

NYPD Blue. Surely I’m not the only Doper who has realized how totally HOT Henry Simmons is!

The Mrs. and I watch American Dreams for our weekly treacle-fix. Any thread about it would be about as deep as a “Saved By the Bell” discussion group though, so none is needed.

60 Minutes - and I have no idea why I’ve never seen a thread on it.

The Twilight Zone. And I don’t remember seeing many Outer Limits threads either. Or the late, great Night Visions (from last year).

Oh, and JAG. I think the last time I saw a thread about that one was back in the spring.

Sea Lab

Justice League

Batman Beyond

Futurama (though this one does get occasional attention)
I’ll never outgrow cartoons

** Dawson’s Creek**. Yep, I’m 25 years old and I’m willing to admit that not only have I never missed an episode, I have all but two on tape. No one ever wants to talk about Charmed either.

Hey that proves at least two of us were watching it! Isn’t that good for UPN? The sad thing was though the series was so-so I was blown away by the last episode their aired. I’ve never seen anything remotely like ghost story they used that week.

Stargate SG-1

The New Red Green Show

Based on the lack of responses every time I bring it up, I must have been the only Doper that watched The Job. I also must have been the only person that watched it, since it got cancelled too quickly. Damn, that show was hysterical.
