That song makes me think of “The Naked Gun.”
Currently I’ve got “Disillusion” by Badly Drawn Boy in my head.
Southern Cross, Crosby, Stills & Nash
“Always look on the bright sii-iide of life…
Always look on the light side of life…”
She wants to sell my monkey. the buddy guy and jr wells version.
Just Like California from the Old 97s (or do they not use the article? anyway):
Time is on my bad side
Half the way there just wouldn’t be fair,
so I’m going all the way tonight…
The Third (Greek version) - They Might Be Giants
“Uncle Fucker”
Take Your Clothes Off When You Dance - Frank Zappa

Until it Sleeps, Metallica.
Heard this on the radio today, and it was a better song than I’d remembered. The pre-chorus (“It grips you…” etc.) is pretty good. I’m still ready for a different song, though.
“I Don’t Love Anyone” by Belle and Sebastian
I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry by Hank Williams.
The silence of a falling star
Lights up a purple sky
And as I wonder just where you are
I’m so lonesome I could cry.
“Brothers in Arms” by Dire Straits.
I listened to the album about three hours ago and still can’t get the title track out of my head.
It could be worse. I once had Taco’s “Puttin’ on the Ritz” in my head for almost a week straight…
“What Would Brian Boitano Do” from the South Park movie.
“Mama Don’t Want No Peas and Rice and Coconut Oil” by Cleo Brown.
I believe the song name is “Nothing at All” done by Allison Krause and Union Station.
‘You say it best, when you say nothing at all.’
I may have heard that version of the Hampster Dance–they play a version on Radio Disney (AM 1260 if anyone cares) a lot that’s pretty cool. I’ve actually found Radio Disney to be a relatively solid station–I didn’t think so when I listened to it a few years ago. It’s proven itself.
“Stones in my Passway,” by John Mellencamp. It’s from his June release “Trouble No More,” an album of blues covers that really sounds like it kicks butt.
I heard a few songs from it on The World Cafe on Friday night. If you think you hated John Mellencamp, check it out.
Subwoofer’s “Screaming Dementia”

“Blame Canada” From the southpark movie.
