What song(s) are stuck in your head right now?

Let it snow. I was out last night and the bar had Christmas music on and that one stuck.

Livin’ on a Prayer has replaced my previous earworm, thanks to ShagMcFreakinNasty

Fear Factory - “Archetype”

Two parts in particular:

“The infection has been removed!
The soul of this machine is improved!”

And

“Loooook into myyyyy eyes and telllll me whaaaat you see-eeee!”

The singer has two different voices - both awesome. If you’re into that sort of thing!

'Til There Was You from The Music Man by Meredith Willson. And I just about had it licked until you brought it up.

I’ve had Death Cab for Cutie’s “Why You’d Want to Live Here” stuck in my head since I got up this morning, for some reason.

So, I’ve been lurking on the boards for over two years now, I’ve read things that make me sigh, cry, and laugh for ages, I’ve read things to which I immediately knew I wanted to contribute, only to wait for someone to say it as I knew they must. What actually convinces me to sign up? The need to tell you that the song is from Avenue Q, a wonderful broadway musical that is like Sesame St on crack. It won the tony for best musical in 2004 actually.

The line to shoot me before I breed starts on the right.

Oh, in answer to the original post, “Defying Gravity” from Wicked, sung by Idina Menzel.

Pete Miser’s “Scent of a Robot”

Much to the dismay of every single person I know

it’s…peanut butter jelly time

Make Poop, by MrSafety Professional Idiot.

Everybody in the club wanna Make poop
Everybody in the car wanna Make poop
Everybody goin’ on a date Make poop
Everybody runnin’ late Just make poop

I just forgot the song that’s been stuck in my head for the past day or so. Yay! That means it’s out. Infinitely preferable to a week or so ago, when I was possessed by a strange desire to know if I remembered all the words to “Ice Ice Baby.” Sadly, I do, and proceeded to prove it somewhat involuntarily several times a day.

Lala la la lala la la Elmo’s World

Been there since yesterday morning.

Well, thanks to this thread, I now have a disgusting medley of every Bon Jovi song ever written stuck firmly between my ears. Yay.

I don’t know who sings it, but the song that goes, “I can see clearly now the rain is gone; I can see all the obstacles in my way…” has been rattling around in my head for several days now.

Johnny Nash

You weren’t watching the beginning of Grosse Pointe Blank by any chance, were you?

I’ve been having a horrible time with the following songs being on shuffle for the past couple of days:

Holly Jolly Christmas
Dukes of Hazzard Theme (“Just the good ol’ boys…”) complete with visual of the guy on the ringtone commercial singing it.
My Favorite Things
We Three Kings

:smack: Someone shoot me now…

Right now it’s a song from VeggieTales: “I can be your friend…if your hair is red or yellow, we can have lunch, I’ll share my Jell-o!” (It’s a song about how it’s good to be friends with everyone, and not OK to call other kids weird or funny-looking.)

I have no idea why, since I have not seen that episode in about a year. Maybe the kids were playing their CD, that song might be on it.

Don’t laugh at me, but: the background music from The New World trailer. And the computer won’t let me bloody well play it. :frowning:

“Climbing Over Rocky Mountain” from Gilbert & Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance.
