What the...? Can someone identify this movie for me?

I was flipping through the channels this morning, and caught what looked like the strangest movie on Cinemax. It featured these two dolled up Heroin Chic chicks groping and making out behind this frosted screen. They were wearing what looked like mics and earpieces, and this one chick had on all this weird gold jewelry which she kept taking off and dropping on the ground. THEN, this guy who was on the other side of the screen would pick up the pieces of jewelry and replace it with something identical.
It was just so freaking surreal-what in the HELL was that?

I can’t believe I know this, but this movie is called Femme Fatale. They were switching the gold jewelry to steal it.

Actually, the whole movie is rather surreal. They go into more detail about the jewelry switch at the end of the movie and “the twist” revealed at the end is rather lame.

Cant believe you didnt recognize Rebecca Romijn-Stamos shakes head

Isn’t she married to the guy from Full House?

I don’t really pay attention to who’s who. It was just like, “What the…?”

Then I flipped some more and caught Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Damn! I finally knew one and I’m a whole day late…

Yep, Oreo got it in one.

Saw this on the big screen. De Palma’s best movie in years.

Bad movie. Individual scenes are well done, but the whole thing is ultimately pointless, which I think was deliberate. It really looked to me like De Palma was making fun of people for liking the kind of movies he’s known for.

Great movie. Individual scenes are well done and the whole only appears to be pointless which is, indeed, deliberate. DePalma was having fun making the type of movie he’s always wanted to make when he’s not reduced to being a Hollywood rent-a-director in order to pay the bills.

The odd thing is, much of the movie technically takes place in the future.

…and Macintoshes are still around. HA!
