I would interpret this as: Yes, you are close enough, but I don’t travel to Moncton very often. I’ll possibly be heading up that way in late July. Is this ok? Is this enough advance notice for us to meet?

Fredericton is one of the best places in New Brunswick, I spent a year there at UNB, the older houses and the parliment buildings give the city a real classy touch.
When were you there?
May-July, 1988. My uncle lives in Moncton, but I never did make it over to see him - didn’t have a car at the time.
It was funny - everyone was complaining about the amazing heat wave that year. It topped out at about 90 F while I was there - I am used to the 90F+ here normally, with 100% humidity - I was loving it there! I am in Southwestern Ontario now, near Windsor.
