I realize that question could have so many answers but the one I want in particular has to do with the actual format of the page.
Yesterday morning when I checked facebook, it looked normal. Yesterday afternoon, I logged out and my mom logged in. Ever since her page loaded, it has looked stupid and I can’t make it be normal again.
This is what it looks like. I’m sorry that is such a horrible picture but I did it quickly. Hopefully you can still see what I’m complaining about.
Basically, it’s all wonky. The margins are all wrong, statuses are so tiny I can barely read them, things that are usually on the sides are now going down the middle, etc. It’s horrible. How do I make it stop? I checked the help section but there’s nothing on there under “how do I make the ugly go away”.
I always try a hard refresh. Shift-control-R (I think, I’m on a Mac). Or hold down shift while clicking the refresh button.

I hear that they’re doing yet another redesign so this might have something to do with it. Friends of mine are saying they see the new design but as of Wed 4pm EST I do not.
Of course there is much complaining and whining about how much everyone hates it, as always.
My problem was definitely not the new update. Seven of my friends/family have updated and I really don’t have any feelings about it one way or the other. I asked around and no one else was having issues. But, shift-refresh worked and I am happy again. I don’t know if I’ll update unless forced but it’s not a big deal. I’ll adapt.
