Takahashi fan, AND Hitchhiker’s fan? Cool!

If he happens to have 'Mazing Man, I’d be interested. Put me on your list to e-mail a spreadsheet to.

Then, plan on coming to Minnesota and spending several months as my pampered guest, cataloging my household. Room and board (whatever you love to eat) provided gratis.

Plan on stocking up on rice krispies

Actually, those of you who mentioned Superman, X-Men and stuff like that: I know he has them. The other stuff, I’ve never heard of. I have no clue what kinds of things he actually likes so it’s possible he has them. I’ve known him for 5-1/2 years and I just found out he’s a wicked Trekkie - so anything’s possible.

Ok, I just talked to BIL. When I asked what he wanted to do with the books, he said, “I don’t know. I have to talk to “A” cause they’re his too”. “A” is my fiancee and he doesn’t seem to care about most of them. BIL is going to talk to “A” when they both get a chance to sit and relax (so in about 2 weeks). He also seems to want to keep the What Ifs so I’d say those are out.

He estimates that the boxes of bagged books have about 250 each and the unbagged books about 300 each. He also said there are some valuable ones in there but he didn’t elaborate.

But, I did tell him that I can get rid of a lot of them here and he was ok with it.

My fiancee has them actually and he cracked up when I asked if he was keeping them. So, I don’t think he’ll be parting with them any time soon.

Trekkie? Did you say Trekkie? Aside from maybe NoClueBoy, I’m the hugest Trekkie you’ll find on this board. WANT! I’ll love you forever and ever and ever and will do anything you ask.

And I called dibs on those X comics, damn it! Everyone else, back off!

Yut! Another Carrot fan!

Let us go to nice bar with a goat. I shall tell of you of the time the Vile Brotherhood released Nutrasweet zombies into the sewers of Philly, and I teamed up with the Mysterymen to defeat them.

Turns out I know him better than I thought. The Trek ones are my fiancee’s. He said he has some Next Gen and Original from the 80’s. He doesn’t know what condition they’re in right now cause I haven’t found them yet. So, he doesn’t know what he’s going to do with them yet.

So he’ll be keeping them? :frowning:

Maybe. Don’t lose hope yet. We haven’t even found them yet. He may decide to simplify things and get rid of them.

Any Star Wars comics?

If you end up selling/giving away some of them, but get stuck with a bunch of random stuff that no one wants, I volunteer to take them off of your hands for a small fee and shipping. (Assuming I don’t already have them, of course.) I like to haunt garage sales and the like looking for cheap runs of old series that I’ve never read before. Give me twenty old Swamp Things or Night Forces or Psi-Forces and I’m a happy camper.

Oh, and I’ll take any Hellblazers that you may run across. I’m trying to catch up.

I just asked my fiancee. He said not that many and he doesn’t remember who they belong to so he can’t tell me if you can have them or not.

Obviously, this whole thing will go much smoother after the guys talk to each other.

any new news?

Actually, I haven’t even seen the brother since the last time I posted but I was just thinking about it today on my drive home. I’m trying to get started on my own packing so he’s going to have to make a decision soon.
